My Favorite Dance Style #4

Image
My least Favorite Dance Style is Waaking, since I'm a slow learning when it comes to hand placements. The reason why Waacking is my least favorite dance style because it just doesn’t vibe with me as much as others. While I totally respect the skill it takes, the constant sharp arm movements and dramatic poses sometimes feel a little stiff and repetitive. It’s like the focus is more on getting those poses perfect rather than feeling the flow of the music. I get that it’s all about confidence and attitude, but for me, it doesn’t have the same free-spirited energy I love in other dances. I think I prefer styles that feel a little more fluid and spontaneous, and Waacking just doesn’t hit that note for me.

Favorite Dance Style #3

My 3rd favorite dance style is Krumping, my favorite thing about krumping is the facial expression that should properly practice for the dance style to be called Krumping. My love for  Krumping is different because it’s raw, powerful, and full of emotion. It’s a dance that doesn’t hold back, it’s all about releasing energy, expressing yourself, and letting go. The movements are so intense and explosive, with every hit, chest pop, and arm swing feeling like it’s coming straight from the soul. What I really admire about Krumping is how it allows dancers to tell their own stories and express deep emotions, whether it’s frustration, joy, or just pure passion. It’s like the dance becomes an outlet for everything you’re feeling, and you can see that raw energy in every move. Plus, there’s something really captivating about the way Krumpers create such intricate, powerful choreography but still maintain a sense of freedom. Every battle or perfor...

Favorite Dance Style #2

My 2nd favorite dance style is Locking, the way we should execute the choreography and how it will look when properly executed. I love Locking because it’s just so much fun to watch and even more fun to do. There’s something about the way dancers hit those sharp, sudden "locks" and then freeze in the middle of a move, it’s like they’re playing with time. It’s energetic, funky, and feels really alive. The style has this playful vibe where you can see the dancer’s personality shine through every move. It’s not just about the steps, it’s about how they connect with the music and make the whole thing feel like a conversation. Every Locking performance is different, and that unpredictability keeps it exciting. Watching it always makes me want to get up and move, because it’s just impossible not to smile when you see it.

Favorite Dance Style #1

My 1st favorite dance style, is Afro, I loved the way an Afro Dance style work. The footwork and the energy needed for your performance. My love for Afro dance style, it’s just so full of life and energy. The way the music flows through you and the movements feel so natural, it’s like you can’t help but get lost in it. There’s something special about how each step tells a story and connects you to the African culture, making it feel both personal and powerful. It’s not just about dancing; it’s about feeling free, expressing yourself, and sharing that energy with others. When I dance Afro style, I feel so alive, like I’m part of something bigger, and it’s just the best feeling.

My Passion in Life

You might be wondering what makes me happy and entertained? Well, I love Dancing any kind of genre but my favorite genre is Hip-hop, my love for dancing begins during my elementary years. Back then, I always be the 1st one in line to line up during a registration whenever their a dance performance coming up, and up until now I've joined Dance Crews inside and outside school and competing against different schools and dance groups.  Dancing is something I truly love, it’s like a language I can speak without words. Every time I step onto the floor, I feel a rush of excitement, like I’m letting go of everything and just being in the moment. It’s not just about the moves; it’s about how the music makes me feel, how my body can express emotions I sometimes can’t say out loud. Dancing gives me a sense of freedom and joy, and it’s the one thing that always makes me feel connected to myself.
